KT SAT participated in Asia-Pacific Satellite Communication Conference (APSCC) and Exhibition held in Thailand from September 23th to 25th

KT SAT set up its stand in an exhibition hall in Phuket JW Marriott, promoted the beam coverage of its next satellite that is expected to be launched in 2016, and discussed its business cooperation plans through meetings. Also, to grasp the satellite market and technology trend, it participated in a conference on satellite mobile communication solution, and satellite production and control/operation system trend.

APSCC is a conference that aims for the development and promotion of the satellite industry in Asia-Pacific. Members include KT SAT as well as other global satellite providers such as Arian Space, INTELSAT, and HUGES.

Industry, academia, and research experts participated in this APSCC to present and discuss various fields in the satellite industry including satellite communication and broadcast, launch satellite manufacturing, etc

Meanwhile, KT SAT’s Vice President Kiseung Chang who attended the event said “With the launch of Moogoonghwa satellite 5A and no.7 in 2016, KT SAT will focus on the rental business of satellite transponder beforehand and accelerate its expansion into the overseas market.”
