▶ KT SAT exhibited at CommunicAsia for 4 years consecutively

▶ Promoting its recently launched satellite, Koreasat-7 and ongoing sales

 

KT SAT announced that it has participated in CommunicAsia 2017 for active

promotion of Koreasat-7 and new solution launched recently.CommunicAsia 2017 is the Asia Pacific's largest broadcast and communication show, held from May 23th to May 25th at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. In 2016, more than 1,100 companies from 50 countries including Huawei and Cisco participated in, and 30,000 buyers and visitors visited the show.

 

KT SAT has been participating in the CommunicAsia since 2014, opening its own exhibition booth, for its brand promotion and satellite services sales. In particular, it will focus on sales of Koreasat-7, which was successfully launched on May 5th, and marketing of new solutions. At the show, KT SAT has introduced slogan "New Satellites, New Partner". It will exhibits Koreasat-7 and Koreasat-5A(to be launched), and its own solutions such as GNOSS(Global Network Operation Support System), and MVSAT(Maritime Very Small Aperture Terminal).

 

KT SAT built a booth that is more than 1.5 times larger than the last years’ one, and raised KT SAT logo on the top advertisement. In particular, it will showcase KT Skylife's satellite broadcasting contents and Android set-top boxes along with KT SAT's excellent satellite broadcasting service, to show visitors its’ strengthened KT group synergy.

 

In addition, KT SAT will carry out full-scale marketing and on-site sales of Koreasat-7, which was launched on May 5th. Koreasat-7 can provide services in South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Indochinese Peninsula, and India. It also provides high-quality satellite service with a transponder of 54 MHz bandwidth. At the show attended by a large number of Asian telecom operators, KT SAT plans to conduct customized sales through C-level meetings and consultation with professional sales engineers.

 

Mr. Won-sic Hahn, the CEO of KT SAT said, "Through CommunicAsia 2017, we will actively show our global customers the superior technology of Koreasat-7 and KT SAT’s solutions." "With the Koreasat-7, KT SAT will also be launched into the global market." He said. KT SAT also plans to launch Koreasat-5A at 113 degrees east in the third quarter of this year. KT is aiming to strengthen its global coverage through two new satellites launched this year and become the top 15 global satellite operators by 2020.
